Type-A Mom is my new favorite web hangout. It's a site for moms, by moms (the FUBU of mom sites), and it's got loads of helpful info, insight, and hilarious stories. Whether you're a military mom, a mom of multiples, trying to conceive, or a grandmother, there is something for you there.

Taking a cue from my ever hip and with it sister-in-law, D, I've started a new topical blog at today.com. EasyVeg will be geared primarily at those interested in making the transition into vegetarianism and those already there who would like tips, pointers, and easy recipe ideas that fall in line with their new diet choice. It will feature recipes, cookbook reviews, product spotlights, vegetarian friendly restaurants, and other vegetarian food related topics.

I'll be looking to my Vox neighbors as well as members of Vox vegetarian and vegan groups for additional topics of interest. Please feel free to let me know about any veggie food products you love (or hate!), vegetarian books, or anything else related to vegetarian food that you think would be of assistance to a vegetarian newbie. ;)

I got this book for Christmas. I wanted it because I am a thoroughly uncreative person who also likes to ramble. I figured this book might help me focus my ramblings a smidge. I know there is a QotD everyday here on VOX to get the creative juices flowing, if you will, but ... I dunno. I just don't like them most of the time.

So I'm going to try to work my way through this book. I don't plan on doing it everyday, but once in a while you may see a more-random-than-usual post. This book will probably be the reason for it.
